Babies, Babies, Babies, Babies, Babies Everywhere!

We had the second family baby shower in a month this past weekend in St. Louis. The shower was for my cousin Ryan's wife, Ryan (yes, you read that right), who looked adorable and managed to make quite a haul! This time my mom and my aunt threw a book shower wherein guests were asked to bring a book for the baby in lieu of a card. Seeing as I'm currently getting a graduate degree in children's library science, I was all over this. The gifts were plentiful, the cake was awesome (both in looks and taste!), and everyone seemed to have a great time. Successful baby shower number two? Done and done.

Nicholas

This is my cousin Dana's new baby, Nicholas. He's almost a month old now, and he is pretty much the cutest thing I've ever seen. Even though the baby shower this weekend was for my other cousin, Ryan, I think Nicholas pretty much stole the show. :)

Kopis!

I love the fact that my favorite coffeeshop in Chicago was Kopi Cafe (in Andersonville) and the coffeeshop I've frequented the most since I've been here is also named Kopi. Makes me feel a little bit more at home. :)
